Created an imperfect manifesto about real people together with Intellias

How did the real not perfect people come to be?

It all started with Intellias’ team’s desire to show that great technologies are built by real people — the kind who spill coffee on their laptops, have mysterious things happening behind a turned-off camera during meetings, and are just trying to keep up with the wild ride of life.

And what captures real moments best? Disposable cameras!

Intellias employees around the world received them — and we asked them to photograph themselves, their work, their friends, hobbies, and pets (or not-pets). No retakes, no filters — just real, unpolished moments of their everyday lives.

To make sure everyone got the idea, we even made an unconventional video guide (yes, with examples of real-not-perfect photos).

Engeneering by REAL NOT PERFECT people.

We had no idea what kind of photos we’d get or how it would all turn out — so we built the copywriting, structure, and overall tone of the video based entirely on what the employees shared with us.

 

And because of that, you know — it all turned out truly, beautifully imperfect.

We may not be engineers ourselves, but we saw a piece of ourselves in this manifesto too.

Intellias employees' love for the company truly blossomed.

We shared all the detailed results in the video case, but the biggest win was that employees became ambassadors of the Real not perfect campaign — changing their profile pictures on official corporate platforms to imperfect ones and posting their photos on social media.

This case earned Intellias two prestigious awards at the Best Employer Brand Awards Adria 2024!
